Websites that help small businesses get found — and contacted.

Website design, local SEO and hosting for small businesses in Belgium, the Netherlands and France — built and run end to end by one independent studio, in English, French or Dutch.

Most small businesses don't need a marketing department. They need a site that loads, says the right thing, and turns up on Google when someone nearby searches for what they do. That is the whole job, and it is what I do.

0 → 87Google visits in 14 days for one client, from a standing start
~425unique visitors, same client and window
2languages, one site, one admin panel
100%built, hosted and maintained in-house

Performance figures are for a single client (aziatischehoornaarvrij.nl), 18 Aug – 1 Sep 2026, measured from the server's access logs. A short snapshot, not proof of sustained growth.

Work

Every project below is live, and the numbers are measured from the server rather than estimated. Where a figure has a caveat, the caveat is printed next to it.

Aziatische HoornaarVrij

Live
www.aziatischehoornaarvrij.nl

A one-man pest-control specialist in Noord-Holland removing Asian hornet nests, with a dated site that no search engine had any reason to show anyone. Rebuilt as a bilingual information resource first and a service page second — because the people who need him are searching for what a hornet nest looks like, not for a contractor.

Desktop view of the Aziatische HoornaarVrij homepage: headline asking whether you have seen an Asian hornet, with a photo of the hornet and WhatsApp and phone buttons.
Desktop: the page leads with the visitor's question and one clear action — send a photo.
Mobile view of the same homepage, with a bottom bar offering call, WhatsApp and send-photo actions.
Mobile: call, WhatsApp and photo stay one tap away.
  • Bilingual NL/EN site, statically generated
  • Local landing pages per service area
  • Structured data for search and rich results
  • Publishing panel so the owner posts without me
  • Mail, DNS, TLS and anti-spoofing set up
  • Ongoing hosting and maintenance

28contact-page views (not confirmed enquiries)

Measured server-side from access logs, 18 Aug – 1 Sep 2026. Baseline was zero search traffic in May 2026, before the rebuild. A short window for one client: other factors may have contributed, and contact-page views are page views, not enquiries.

What I do

Four things, done properly, by the same person who will answer the phone about them.

A website people can use — and you can edit

Fast pages, clear wording, and a site you control rather than one you are locked into.

Good fit: you have no site, or one that is slow, dated or hard to update.

You get: a finished site, in more than one language if your customers need it, set up so you can change the text yourself.

Under the hood: static pages, no page-builder bloat.

Be found by people nearby who are already searching

Pages that answer what customers actually type into Google, so your business shows up at the right moment.

Good fit: local businesses and trades whose customers start with a search.

You get: content and structure built around real searches, plus the markup search engines read.

Under the hood: local and technical SEO, structured data.

A site that stays up and email that arrives

The unglamorous layer that decides whether customers can reach you and whether your mail lands in the inbox.

Good fit: your site has gone down, or your email lands in spam or fails to send.

You get: domain, secure connection, email and backups set up and looked after.

Under the hood: DNS, TLS, mail authentication, redirects, backups.

Someone who answers when something needs changing

Updates, monitoring, fixes and small changes on a flat monthly fee. No ticket queue — you message me and it gets done.

Good fit: you want the site looked after without thinking about it.

You get: a named person to contact, with what is included agreed in writing at the start.

Under the hood: updates, uptime monitoring, fixes.

Not sure which you need? Send a short enquiry — I will tell you honestly which one, if any. Every project starts with a conversation, and scope and price are agreed in writing before any work begins.

How it works

No account managers, no reselling someone else's platform, no retainer for work nobody can point to. One person, end to end — which means the person who builds it is the person who fixes it.

1 — Look first

What are people actually searching for, what does the current site do, and what is the realistic gap? Usually a short conversation and an afternoon of checking.

2 — Build the useful part

The pages that answer real questions get built first. Fixed scope, fixed price, agreed before anything starts.

3 — Measure, then keep it alive

Traffic measured from the server, not guessed. Then ongoing care so it stays fast, current and indexed.

Let's talk

Tell me what your business does and what you want people to find. I will tell you honestly whether there is anything worth doing.
